The agency will also create a searchable in-house digital warehouse of public outreach materials, including presentations, talking points, and letters.

DOT will develop an outreach resource guide documenting best public engagement practices across the agency.
Through the development of the Strategic Plan 2016, DOT reviewed the agency's outreach best practices and based on that review, is developing tools to improve and better coordinate outreach activates across agency divisions. Our refined strategies will aim to help the agency better understand the communities it works with, target invitations to public meetings, and solicit project feedback and comments. DOT will continue to review outreach practices for opportunities for improvements.
DOT will create a searchable, in-house digital warehouse of public outreach materials.
DOT continues to upload outreach materials such as Community Board presentations to its internal server, SharePoint, and is working to improve the search capabilities of this digital warehouse.
